I LOVE the care we receive each and every time we come into Cannon Valley Vet Clinic. The doctors and technicians are thorough and kind. They always let me stay near my dog so he's comfortable throughout the visit, which means a lot to me.
UPDATE:
She got an X-ray and a shot to help with nausea. They never pressured me to do extra studies that I couldn't afford. They even went above and beyond and gave her subcutaneous fluids (at no additional cost). Then the vet called me the next day to see how she was doing. Now the little stinker is completely fine and just as high energy as ever.
I may be moving and I hope to find a clinic even half as good as they are. This is hands down the best clinic in the area.
We have taken our companion animals, both permanent family members and rescue fosters, to Cannon Valley Veterinary Clinic for 20 years and would never consider taking them elsewhere. The vets and staff at Cannon Valley Veterinary Clinic are professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and have always made us feel like family. They take the time to explain all treatment options to us and, rather than always pushing the most expensive option, only give us advice and counsel if we ask for it. They are in veterinary medicine for the right reasons and we trust them implicitly with the care of our beloved multi-legged family members. We recommend them to everyone we know.
The clinic is VERY clean. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They have great prices on Revolution, almost as good as online pet pharmacies. They clearly love animals and are patient and loving with my cats.
Just brought my cat there last week for an emergency visit. They got me in immediately and squeezed me between appointments. I thought she swallowed string and wasn't sure how I would afford surgery. They were reassuring and after bringing her in I felt so much better. It's so clear that they adore animals.
My cat, Missy, is 12 years old and hates car rides. By the time we got to clinic, she had totaled her carrier from nerves. We got into our room, Jennifer, the vet tech took the carrier and Missy to the back for a bath, no problem. Missy came back into the room and settled down under a chair. Dr Kasey Peterson came in and checked her over, not rushing Missy a all. She got Missy to come to her twice from under that chair!! Missy obviously likes her!! Two injections later, still no fuss. Awesome!! Getting Missy back into a clean carrier was a two person job, handled quickly with minimal fuss. Yes!! A very good visit!! Good people who obviously love and understand pets.
I was nervous having a large breed dog with cryptochidism get neuter surgery. He has healed up wonderfully despite a rather large incision. Kudos to the surgeon and everyone who took care of my boy!
If you live within a 30 minute drive of Northfield, this is the vet you want. If I move to the cities, I'm still going to keep them as my vet. They're well worth the drive.
I drive from Faribault, they are so worth it. They are above and beyond. They're "more expensive" but they are open with prices and won't push services on you if you have said you can't afford them. I have never been surprised by the bill.
