Fluffy, tasty bread. Delicious meats topped with fresh veggies. Excellent soups, environment, and service...Far and away one of the best hoagies I've ever had. A must-go eatery for day trip tourists and locals aike.
I love it. If they do it right, 5 stars. Just..maybe once every 4 or 5 times I go there, my sandwich has too little special sauce or way too much mayo. But it's still always good. Best hoagies I've ever had.
If you are in Northfield this is a great local sandwich shop. The bread is great and the sandwiches are good. They also serve some good soups as well.
Best subs around! Combo heated is all you need to know. Good service, clean tables and a warm atmosphere.
Hogan Bros has been a favorite of ours for well over 20 years. As some of the recent reviews have indicated, it seems to be going downhill a bit. Still solid, but no longer one of the best sandwiches you could ever have--which it used to be. I don't get the combo anymore--the corned beef is not the same as it used to be. You absolutely have to go when it is really busy to get a good sandwich--quality is mediocre when it is slow. Still good, just no longer great.
