Best hospital I have ever been to amazing doctors friendly and efficient front desk staff and nurses sometimes a wait for er but that's normal I have happily referred several people and they switch from different hospitals and never leave I drive 20 miles to see them when their is a different hospital less then a mile from my home that I will never step foot in again.
Had all 4 of my children at Northfield Hospital and loved everything about it. Especially the double beds! All the nurses were kind, sensitive and supportive. My Family Practice Doc and the Women's Health Center Docs worked seamlessly together. We checked our itemized bill against a friend's bill from another hospital and Northfield was quite a bit less. Quality of care excellent!
I was there for a toe operation, on August 21. One day in and out I was told. After the surgery the pain med were not working. The nurse kept asking me in a accusing tone, are you sure you don't take narcotics at home? Insult! It was around 7 pm, I asked to asked my doctor if I could stay overnight. The nurse came back told me he said no. Later b when I spoke to the doctor he said yes! Around 9 still in severe pain no medicine working. I told the nurse I Was staying. My daughter had gone home and due to the storm we had no electricity. So then the nurse sent in a house supervisor. She said it would be fraud to keep me, and my personal problems weren't there problem. So I had to go home!!

The Northfield Women's hospital was excellent. Very accommodating while I was in college and worked with me being out of state a lot. To this day I remember my ob/gyn as the best I've had. Nice, quiet, and clean building and waiting rooms, plenty of parking, and friendly staff. I can only speak about the women's hospital but I never had a bad experience there.
