Had the lunch buffet. Good mix of vegetarian and meat based dishes. Kept the buffet full and the food was great.
For Vegan diners - there are a number of known vegan choices on the menu and if you don't see what you want they are very accommodating.
Chaptai is one of my favorite places to eat in Northfield. As usual I ate from the buffet and was completely satisfied. The food is outstanding and the people are very friendly. Recommended for anyone.
As a Brit who is very picky about his Indian food I was very pleasantly surprised at the very high food quality. This is hands down the best Indian food in Minnesota.
Good food, kind of a shabby place, but lots of character in the building that also houses a hotel and some cool shops.
